THE BIGGEST SECRET TO SUCCESS and MAYBE THE ONLY PATH TO GREATNESS

There are several glorious mechanisms one can choose to achieve success and all these mechanisms stems from one thing. This one thing is sometimes over looked and may not be considered helpful in certain cases. But those who understands it knows well of its power. It is sometimes referred to as the most powerful thing a human possess. This one thing, is called ‘HOPE’. Yes, just hope.

Hope could be said to be the very foundation of human nature. That is to say, it is in our nature to hope. We plan for the future with no assurance to see it. It is a holistic term to describe so many words such as confidence, faith, courage, anticipation, expectation and optimism. All these words describes human doings. The ability to hope is naturally programmed in every human. Not everybody counts on the chance of miraculous bail out in certain cases. But even in such cases, people do hope.

Hope can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear today’s hardship. Hope is like the sun, which, as we go towards it, casts the shadow of our burden behind us. Working with a strong conviction of achieving success one day is the strongest motivation one can ever get. Success is a future term for a reward one can only hope to enjoy. We sometimes put monies we hope to gain in our budgets and therefore spends towards it. That is to say, hope is inevitable.

Hope pushes our abilities to its limits. It gives us the confidence to fight. It is the stepping stone to success because no matter where you find yourself or who you are, there is an amount of hope in you. There is the zeal to one day get to where you want to be. All you need is consistent hard work and believe. Genuine hard work never perishes and hard work is the vehicle of all dreams. Have faith (hope) even in its tiniest quantity in whatever you do and success shall come your way.

Prayer is a very important tool. Its backed by believe. Which is also a strong word in its own sense. To believe is to accept something you have an incomplete understanding of. We know God listens to us and guides us but we don’t know how. But with believe and hope, we know HE won’t let us down in any way. Provided we stay true to our course.

Remember Red, hope is a good thing. Maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies. -----Tim Robbins (In the movie; Shawkshank Redemption)

5 REASONS WHY TAMALE IS THE MOST LIVABLE CITY IN GHANA

The northern part of the nation is statistically categorized as an under privilege region in terms of wealth or income levels. This article considers factors above just individual income levels. It actually looks at how it costs to live a normal Ghanaian life in the northern capital.
Let’s start with the basic needs,
Lately there have been an uprising in food prices but its still possible to spend less than Ghc 5 or Ghc 3 on a healthy and normal full day’s meal depending on the area you are. Now, of course you can choose to flaunt your wealth in luxurious restaurants around town which may cost a fortune. But a lower income individual won’t need to worry his/herself that much.

Cost of rent is so low that you may wonder if Landlords really need rent proceeds. Hospitality is so intertwined in the northern culture to an imaginable extent. I must say that modernization is eroding this unique behavior but its still within individuals raised in the city and its evident to anybody who has ever has something to do with a northerner.

Social vices are within the barest minimum in this city. This ensures security and harmonious living. There’s serenity in almost all the spacious residential areas of the city to give you the ultimate peace of mind and refreshment for your daily activities.

The city of Tamale is full of entrepreneurial business opportunities to get your life started. Well, of course provided you have the capital to start it. These entrepreneurial opportunities are far more rewarding than others in other cities because competition is relatively less harsh if you get your business right.
All in all the city’s cost of living is astonishingly low. You can even decide to go on weekend trips to its surrounding tourist sites at lower rates.

HOW THE INTERNET CAN EASILY MAKE ANY SMART PERSON RICH

We are in a digital world. Physical appearances are no more a requirement in certain human relations. Creativity now pays more than ever. The internet is a beautifully simple marketplace for people to make money, and get paid for their services. Just like any human community, persons of great confidence and hard work stands out. There are limitless websites that provides the platforms for almost any person of any reasonable age to earn a living.

If the internet is a country, then websites are like real estates. I’m hoping by now you have a general understanding that real estates are valuable in the physical world – digital real estate work the same way. By building a website, you’re creating your own plot of online “land.”
You can fill this land with whatever you want, but you have to promote it through social media (and anywhere else you can think of) for this to be successful. When you build traffic to your land, you can sell people whatever you have to offer. In order to build a website, you need a host (i.e GoDaddy), a template (i.e WordPress), and content.
The first two parts are easy to find, and content is only as difficult as you make it. You can post blogs, items for sale, pictures, videos, or whatever you want. Opening up your own website gives you the potential to make money from the avenues I’m going to mention.

Google’s advertising platform is as simple as signing up, enabling (on Blogger) or pasting a small code on your website, and allowing the advertisements to automatically roll in. The problem with this program is that you don’t get any commissions – and you don’t get to control the ad content. This is useful for some, but powerful users will want something a little more robust. Amazon has an Associates program for site owners and bloggers. They offer a search tool to find the right products and services from their site and a variety of ad styles to display on your site, including text-based and banner images (digital billboards).

If you love Amazon, you’ll love their assAmazon and Google are far from your only options for online advertising. Rakuten Linkshare is a great place to search for other affiliates for your ads. Through their program, you can get customized ad links, email links, and banner ads for Starbucks, Walmart, iTunes, and a slew of other popular brands. With this program, you can also find smaller companies, regional or specialized brands, and more. I run a combination of Google, Amazon, and Rakuten’s programs, and my monthly income is approximately $150 from these programs. It’s not a lot of money, but it’s also not a lot of work for residual (it means recurring…since the ads are permanent…) income.ociate’s program.

Elance offers a wide array of technical, data entry, accounting, and other freelance and temp gigs. If you’re just looking for something short and sweet, log in, input and showcase your marketable skills, and begin searching through their job database, using any parameters you desire. Once you submit a bid, you’ll receive an acceptance or denial – you may get a few rejections, but don’t sweat it. Negotiate the terms of your bid, and get to work. You have money to make.

No matter what you do to make money online, promote it on your social media accounts. You have a base of people who are already interested in you and have a vested interest in your brand – why would you not want to take advantage of that? By promoting yourself and your projects on your social media accounts, you’re greatly increasing the chances of people actually giving you money in exchange for your goods and services. Stop being shy and get out there.

PROGRAMS YOU SHOULD NEVER DO AT THE UNIVERSITY

Most people in Ghana have the tendency to take on any chance they get to do any program they’re offered provided they are doing it in a university or any other prestigious tertiary environment. We most times don’t consider our personal choices in certain cases. Probably it’s sometimes due to the inherent pressure we put on ourselves or by our parents to be in school or probably to avoid the feeling of being left at home alone when our peers are already in school. However you look at it, desperation on the part of students in getting admission at all cost is certainly the reason why they are sometimes sacked from schools because they choose programs they are not even remotely interested in.

They are courses one should never do depending on where you heading in life. Unfortunately there aren’t enough counseling or education on career choices even in our schools. So you will see persons of journalism potentials studying accounting or economics and are most likely not doing well in that program and are subsequently sacked. It should be noted that no person offering a tertiary course should be said to be unintelligent though they are always exceptional cases which, in this case we think are very few. The point here is, they are a lot of people studying courses they are not interested in and therefore not excelling in them.

The key elucidation to this problem is realizing not what you can do but what you are really interested in doing. This may be difficult sometimes to figure. It sometimes doesn’t take a minute to figure. Rather, it could take days or months of personal examination and research to determine. The understanding of what you can really do should be backed by the confidence to defend and pursue it without being forced by parents or peers to compromise and end up studying a program you never intended to do.

Some programs are held in high esteem whilst others are not. But frankly speaking, there’s no less prestigious program. Your interest is what matters most. You can be very happy being a middle income person and having your hobby as a job. What’s the point of being in school if you don’t find interest in what you are studying? It’s like being in a prison. You are just following rules, nothing to be happy about. A former drop out law student (Bill Gate) is making billions off computer software. Now clearly, studying law wasn’t his thing. He boldly left school because of that.

Know yourself. That’s the only way you can have a happy time on earth. Work things out yourself and make the right choice because one day you are going to be on your own.
